2C 07: The Yuying Lega "C"
As I look back, there's no doubt that a harmless looking bunch of sec 1 pupils fours years ago has really made a difference to the lives of many and to one another. I thank God that our paths converge in the year 2007 and beyond... creating countless moments of love, joy, laughter and tears.
Although the future is uncertain, you can take heart that in the midst of challenges in the days ahead, a truthful heart and an enthusiatic spirit will see you through all difficulties and add meaning to the things you do. This is exactly what happened to this class: sincerity and enthusiasm. May you apply these qualities and reap the fruits of joy over and over again. At the end of the day, the legacy is not established until the world sees 2C living in you.
This class is not meant to just give you nice memories but a motivation to light up your successful future. In the past, many good classes have had sweet memories but the truly outstanding ones manages to motivate you to success for the rest of your lives. Imagine the day when the most successful people in our country can all be traced back to one school, one class... it sure beats a group of old fogeys on rocking chair talking about playing football when they were 14.
The legacy is not so much about a collective memory, but a bright future with a common origin.

People don't search 2C to look for your name but they search your name to find 2C.
The journey's end is at hand, this is the last chance to iron your school uniform if you have not done that before. Iron it, wear it one solid last time and be proud to say "the last time I wore my school uniform, I purposely ironed it like never before" may you look to the future with light shining from behind you, lighting up your footsteps. It casts a long "2C" shadow on the ground and may it keep you company whenever you go.
