For those who still have not decide, here's something:
If you are destined to marry the person God has already pre planned, your life is meaningless. God gives you the avenue to choose. So back to the point, with that sentence in mind your choices, your results give you a range of courses to choose from, just like how your looks/qualities give you a range of guys to choose from. You choose a guy and pray that this relationship will last and likewise you choose a course and pray that God will help you along the way. Why not you choose a course, then you let God help you, rather than ask him to show you the course.

As the chinese saying goes, there's always a taller mountain. No matter what you do, no matter where you go, there will definitely be someone better than you. Comparing yourself to them will only make yourself feel demoralised. So why bother? :)

Start life afresh with a positive attitude. Your attitude determines your altitude :D

Dear all,

2C 07: The Yuying Lega "C"

As I look back, there's no doubt that a harmless looking bunch of sec 1 pupils fours years ago has really made a difference to the lives of many and to one another. I thank God that our paths converge in the year 2007 and beyond... creating countless moments of love, joy, laughter and tears.

Although the future is uncertain, you can take heart that in the midst of challenges in the days ahead, a truthful heart and an enthusiatic spirit will see you through all difficulties and add meaning to the things you do. This is exactly what happened to this class: sincerity and enthusiasm. May you apply these qualities and reap the fruits of joy over and over again. At the end of the day, the legacy is not established until the world sees 2C living in you.

This class is not meant to just give you nice memories but a motivation to light up your successful future. In the past, many good classes have had sweet memories but the truly outstanding ones manages to motivate you to success for the rest of your lives. Imagine the day when the most successful people in our country can all be traced back to one school, one class... it sure beats a group of old fogeys on rocking chair talking about playing football when they were 14.

The legacy is not so much about a collective memory, but a bright future with a common origin.

The journey's end is at hand, this is the last chance to iron your school uniform if you have not done that before. It casts a long "2C" shadow on the ground and may it keep you company whenever you go.

Most pictures are not at hand but I really want to put this down for record.

I think we all can feel the pure joy of seeing one another. Meeting in school is one thing but really coming together just among ourselves is really special. While many of you cycled and play with the sand and sea, the rest of us just sat on the breakwater (sorry no breeze) and just recount the past year and also our days as a class.

Then there was this wet grass patch that became a trap to whoever tries to come straight up the breakwater *splash* followed by *$$^%$&%#$*, I think that was funny.

When you look at the attendance, it was impresive. Even Joshua and Phuong Anh came. There were 26 of you when I counted.

I guess we would have stayed longer along the beach if it were not getting dark
I guess we would have stayed longer in the park if we were not hungry
I guess we would have stayed longer at the arcade if it did not close
I guess we would have stayed longer at White Sands if the security guards did not chase us away
I guess they don't understand how much a gathering mean to us, they never will

The parting is still difficult as ever because that underlines this special bond we all have. So, praise be to God and I thank him for everything :)

When I was home, I just have this strong feeling that many of you will go online... so I logged on and this screenshot was taken at 12:50am:

and there were also the countless sms after the gathering. Anyway, the outcome of the round of late night msn was I decided to open my house for the next gathering during 2009 Chinese New Year. That's something to look forward to for now!

Buddies were introduced, nice people, no wonder we miss them all when we are back.

After the welcome party and introduction to buddies, it was FRC and lesson time. Then followed by a dance session. We had lunch and set off for mu tou zhai Primary School, a village school for the under priviliged.

A long overdue letter

Dear Class,

As mid-year exams draws to a close, my current form class is preparing for sec 2 camp. It really brings back fond memories. I want to let you know the mere thought of the whole of last year would make my day. Oh my... did you watch those "showdown" advertisements on TV the past week? It was the same campsite!

I have been asking other teachers about your updates all these while. It seemed to me that most of you belong to the better part of your respective classes despite sec 3 being tough as most of you would agree. The most impressive part is the groups of 4-5 studying together at the canteen. Keep it up! Deng Ju especially... teachers are full of praises for you. The secret to knowing your subjects is a positive attitude... learn to enjoy your subjects and not let a few poor results affect your confidence. Indeed, when the confidence is there, you can do wonders.

Vincent! Family problems are no excuse, nothing in this world can stop you if you tell yourself "let me do my best" You are better than many of your current classmates, you can win most of them with one eye closed and the top pupil if you go full force. Don't short change yourself.

Khair, cannot concentrate? Study in the canteen. Still cannot study? I'll join you.

This post is also for those whom I somehow don't get to meet often. People like, Shahidin, Ridwan, Chairman, Hong Sheng, Kah Hui, Fara, Quraisyah... my memory isn't complete without you.

This post isn't meant to be too long... I can confidently say that in our collective memory, one question is enough to underline most of our thoughts (I may be too self-assuming here but I will take the risk):

I have come to terms that there can never be a perfect closure, a perfect message to end the year. Just like writing an essay, it is better to write something less than ideal than to leave your script blank. I have thought for weeks even before the term closed on what to say but I guess my feelings are like many of you: can't find the right words to describe. So here I go, a pale expression of my brimming feelings for a group of pupils who had made this year a pleasant one for me.

Class Ex-co:
Hmm... have you noticed our class exco is never a fixed group of people? Is Choy Ting and Hui Ning in Exco? What about Geraldine and Lixian? Nevermind who are they, in the end when something needs to be done someone is there to handle it. Such that when Khair is not around, we still have fruits, when yu sen is not around we still have keys... Really like to thank these people.

Vice-chairman:
Certain things are hard to explain: one of them is the idea of a vice-chairman needs to be a loving person. It simply works. The way she offer comfort to Yuan Ting when her grandfather passed away is something I will never ever forget or able to do.

ROAR!!
I "roared" a few times to bring order back to the class. I hope you don't hate me for that. Rebecca and Ridwan... you two suffered most. I know, I remember and I still love you before, during and after the roar.

CIP:
Remember the CIP at Society for the Aged Sick? I read your reflections and wrote my remarks until I reach Kah Hui's, I was lost for words. Until now the reflections are still with me. Kah Hui, I still don't know what to say...

Kelvin:
You really shouldn't have climb out of 2D window... Enough said.

LOCD:
Many of you had put in extra effort: be it distributing flyers or sorting out the cans, don't think CIP hours can cover everything. But then who says we're here for rewards?

Sec 2 Camp:
I have said this before and I'll say again: Whenever you feel lousy, look through the sec 2 camp pictures and postings.

Class key:
Classes have shifted, classmates have streamed but the 2C classroom key that says B3-05 still remains at the unreachable corner of the school hall.

Zero7:
If there is anything I want to keep for remembrance it will be the class flag with all your fingerprints on it. Not even our class photo has everyone in it.

End-of-year:
I cherished the last month with you as much as I could. During the CME lesson on "Harmful effects of Pornography" I really put in my heart and soul, have you noticed?

Last day of school was awful, I don't remember feeling this bad about ending a year. I realised that what I missed most were those classroom moments... every... single... moment... This is the finale, although Kukup trip was round the corner, that would only be the curtain call. Feelings were real that afternoon, very real. It was not rehearsed, there was no background music, I fumbled a few things and most of all I forgot to greet my class for one last time.

So it leaves me to say on this post "Thank you class, may God bless you."

Hey peeps!,
Yeah, a beautiful fullstop has end our sec2 life. I really do enjoyed the days we had. & i really enjoyed to cry and laugh with you guys. Well, i really had no regrets, of coming to this school with an aggergrade of 194. In the first place, i was telling myself, "scored well, and get out of this school fast", this was my mission during my sec1 life. But after a few months of bonding, i felt that, i really drop into the "real world" in secondary life. I was lucky that, my class, was a wonderful,marvellous class. A class with laughter & with all the spastic moments.. and eventually i tend to understand what is the meaning of play hard & study hard.
I will always remember everything, as some of the peeps never fails to give us the funny attention, and eventually, we laughed.
In this class, I tend to know more good friends at the year 2007, & thanks god that, i have you guys as, it is an honour to know you:D.
Everyday was a memorable one. but still sec2 camp was the best one ever:D
& For those who did not score well for this time round, dont give up yourself, no matter what subject you has gone into? dont give up. try and try again & you dont have to compare with others, as the biggest enemy is yourself.
Im not a good writer and i do not know how to describe 2c using all the beautiful words.
but i still had to say. 2CHARISMA,rocks & ilovetwoc :D
