Hate those foolish deeds but love the foolish person, for he is already sad and miserable over the foolish deed.
It is interesting that immediately after posting my note on "love" I am put to test by that classroom key that by now have little chance of coming back.
My version: somebody was throwing the classroom key to see how high the classroom key can be thrown... (trying to hit the hall ceiling?)
I don't know how many attempts it took. Probably without warning, it landed on the highest ledge. (OH NO!!) The rest they say is history...
Really, there is nothing much you can do about the past, as much as one can blame the thrower, we can also blame everybody else who did not warn of what could have happened. Now you see why sometimes your classmates tell you off? Because if they don't, like in this case, everybody suffers. I suppose everybody was busy PE-ing so nobody managed to say something sensible.
